Integrate kenzoAI with BuildNinja

You can integrate kenzoAI with BuildNinja to deliver intelligent build analysis, predictive insights, and actionable recommendations directly within your CI/CD workflows. The integration applies at the build level. Once enabled, it affects all builds that use AI-enabled features.

The following sections explain the requirements and high-level behavior. Detailed configuration steps inside BuildNinja are maintained separately in the BuildNinja documentation to avoid duplication and ensure UI accuracy.

Prerequisites​

Before enabling the integration, ensure that all Getting Started with kenzoAITo start using kenzoAI, you'll need to meet the prerequisites, get credits, and create an application to obtain the App Key and App Secret required to authenticate your integrations. steps are completed.

High-Level Integration Flow​

  1. An administrator configures the kenzoAI App Key and App Secret in BuildNinja.
  2. BuildNinja authenticates all AI-related requests using the configured kenzoAI application.
  3. When an AI-powered feature is invoked, BuildNinja securely transmits the relevant data to kenzoAI.
  4. kenzoAI processes the data and generates analysis results, explanations, or predictions.
  5. BuildNinja presents these results within the corresponding AI-powered features, such as Analyze Logs, Explain Config, and AI Analysis.

BuildNinja transmits only the build execution data required for analysis. Credentials are also transmitted as part of this process but are stored securely. Clearing the credentials immediately disables all AI-powered functionality.
